Leggings...Cute look. I've been known to sport it myself from time to time. But, ladies and gents, its NOT appropriate for Church! I am sorry if you are reading this and you have sported this look at church...I'm not judging you...I am just not a fan of it for church. It makes you lazy in how you sit and it is not Sunday best in my opinion. I think of leggings as a way to get away with things while you are wearing a dress or skirt. For instance, you can sit cross legged while wearing leggings. You can't with a regular dress. It really frustrates me to see the dresses get shorter and shorter on the girls and less and less modest for church... I really can't wait for the brethren to say something about it cause its really starting to tick me off. Once again...I am not judging those of you who have sported this look and I am sorry if I have offended you with this post...I still love you!

Venting

realizing that my shirt barely reached my mid thigh...

so from EXPERIENCE i want to second your motion to ban leggings during the sabbath.

Erin I could not agree more! what gets to me is the endowed women who where them and then the skirt is very short (shorter than the garment) like it justifies it.
I wore leggings to gc once too...ashamed as well...and it bugs the shorter and shorter the shirts/dresses get.
And Katie...I agree...endowed+leggings at church=NO GOOD!
I KNOW! Leggings do not make a mini skirt appropriate for church. Student wards are the worst...girls don't even bother to wear the leggings. They just wear the mini skirts. It's skanktastic!
