To play game: Be honest.

This is an ode to how much I hate dating games! Why can't dating be simple, like it was 100 years ago. A young man interested in a certain young woman would ask said young woman's father if he could court his daughter. The father would either agree or disagree. In the case of the father agreeing to the request, the young man would then seek for the young woman's attentions. He would shower her with lovely gifts, make her feel like a queen, wait on her every beckon call, and even surprise her with flowers! And if a young man showed interest in a young woman, another young woman wouldn't show interest in said young man. No one fought over who's is who's. No one "laid claim" or said "hands off" about anybody. Simple. Easy. And if two people showed interest in each other, everyone was thrilled. No backstabbing. No lying. Plain honesty. Everyone was upfront about feelings and honest about everything. That is the way the game should be played. I like this game. I'm good at this game. I don't know how to play "Hard to Get." I know how to play "I Like You and Want to Spend Time With You." I don't know how to play "Hands Off." But I do know how to play "Stay Up Late Texting, 'Cause I Don't Want to Say Goodnight." I'm not good at the game that everyone plays these days. They frustrate me and give me a headache and in the long run, no one is happy, because everyone is confused at what the other person "means."

So to play my game: BE HONEST!

The end!
